Anointing of the Sick and Communion Calls
The Church teaches us that: "The anointing of the sick may be administered to the faithful who have the use of reason (age 7 and above) and begin to fall into danger as a result of illness or old age...Among those who may be anointed, the Ritual mentions in particular: those undergoing surgery whenever a serious illness is the reason for the surgery; elderly people who have become notably weakened even though no serious illness is present; sick children if they have sufficient use of reason to be strengthened by this Sacrament." Please call Fr. Paul when the situation arises that you or a loved one can benefit from this Sacrament. It is a most powerful experience of God's healing love.

Members of the family are encouraged to call the rectory whenever a parishioner becomes confined at home, is in the hospital, or placed in a nursing home or hospice.

2011 Mass Intentions

pdf iconMass Intention Form

2011 Mass intentions are being accepted. Forms are located in the reading racks in the back of the church or can be downloaded [Mass Intention Pdf].  Place these forms in an envelope with any accompanying donation and submit it to the rectory.
On June 1st we will open all envelopes and satisfy requests one at a time with equal preference given to all. Every effort will be made to provide you with your requested date. If that date is not available you will be notified by mail. The only exceptions are the 4:00PM Saturday and 11:00AM Sunday Masses. These are multiple intention Masses and we will honor all requests for intentions at those Mass times. Therefore, any one of those Masses may have more than one intention listed.

St. Brigid Book of Prayer

The St. Brigid Book of Prayer, located in the narthex, is to write the name(s) of anyone in need of our prayers. These intentions will be remembered in our weekend Prayers of the Faithful.
